Our clients not only are from the construction industry but any site that requires safety supervision. Our services not only revolves around providing outsource solutions to out clients but also providing consultancy and advisory services to many of our clients.

I enjoy challenges and am highly adaptable to changes, Throughout my career, i learnt to tackle occupational safety and health matters (OSH) and customise solutions to issues. I have developed communication skills, human relations and am a hands-on individual who can work independently and interdependently within a team environment. I likes to lead as an example influencing the team with a safety mindset and skillset. So i can derive the path forward to gauge compliances and forthcoming initiatives in OSH. It is crucial to align and understand the OSH requirements to lead contractors towards OSH goal.
I always believe that I am committed to every work lives in the enormity of work. My objective is to see every workers go back home safely to their family. I aim to be a OHS practitioner in various industry, to forefront many initiatives to make our day to day work lives safer.
As a person outside of work, I am a father of two whom loves to spend time with my own family. I always believe the time spent with the family should always be made fruitful as we are always unable to predict the what is going to happen to us even when precaution has been taken.

"In my profession, I always believe that I am responsible for every work lives in my workplace."
Inculcating a safe culture and education while at work is my principal. The only reason why a place can maintain good records is when each and everyone of them takes responsibility with regards to safety.
My current achievement on site has always been great as I am lucky enough (so to speak) to not face with any bad mishaps under my charge. However I believe all this are efforts but everyone, including myself, to not take on a light role when it comes to safety.
Outside of work, I am a father of two whom loves to spend time with my own family. I always believe contributing back to the society is always the right thing to do and creating a safer environment will never end as mishaps can happen at any time.

I love helping others and sharing what I have to others be it work related or otherwise. Being in this line, it gives me the opportunity to contribute to the maintenance of quality work environments which in turn increases productivity and efficiency as employees are happier & healthier.
Safety at workplace is what many companies should emphasize as it concerns the workforce behind the project that is ongoing. In this field of work, I get to meet & interact with people from all walks of life and give them sound advice which indirectly will have a positive impact on their life. Safety at workplace might sound mundane and overlooked, however, it increases the company's value and defination of responsibility.
My friends would describe me as someone approachable, reliable & trustworthy. When faced with difficult situations, you can be sure that I’ll always have your back. I work hard and play hard because to me, it is important to strike a good balance & to have some fun once in awhile! - In my free time, you can find me running along Punggol Waterway or at The Bank Bar cheering on my favourite football team.
With my years of experience in this industry, there has been a multitude of cases that I’ve had to handle - the worst being workplace fatality. However, handling such cases has taught me a great lesson on how to prevent future occurrences as well as the importance of working together as a team to overcome obstacles in order to achieve set goals.

"Sometimes the site management team is too focus on the progress of the project that they overlook safety"
Being a safety professional, I have to educate the site management team that adhering to safety measures will not delay work progress but instead it will result in effective and efficient work management. They have to understand that everyone plays a part in ensuring the safety of the workplace.
I started off working as a programming engineer and was tasked to assist to prepare a risk assessment for company. From there, I started to pick up my interest in safety and understand more on the importance of safety. After that I attended more safety related courses before I left the company to join SRD in December 2009. I started as a WSHC and move on to become a WSHO.
Almost every day I get to face different challenges as the work progress very fast. I have to be very focus to identify any safety lapse that will arise and put a stop to it before an accident happens. There is definitely a satisfaction when at the end of the project, there is no accident reported and workers go home safely after all the hard work they put in. The worst scenario faced was when there was misalignment of goals between the safety team and site management team.
Though the challenges in everyday work might be a huge load, I would still advice all to not take safety for granted. The thing about me is that I am more of an optimistic and down to earth person. I believe that where there is a will, there is a way. We should take failures positively and never give up easily. At the end of it all, being back to home to spend time with our family/friends and to wind down after a day of work is what everyone should look forward to.
